Tasmania Roadtrip - Week 4 - South Coast Track

At the start of the South Coast Track you can see the remains of a huge flywheel used to slice through giant stringybark trees in the early 1900s. The Cockle Creek area was home to the Heather Family's sawmill which operated here for a century. A short way into the track it turned into a narrow boardwalk used to cross the marshlands.
